CNC Machine Operator  - 2nd Shift 

The Machinist is responsible for operating various machines, including CNC Swiss and Mills, to finish parts or prepare for the next operation. The machinist will work from blueprints, part prints, drawings, and verbal instruction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Use precision tools and instruments.
  • Capable of working to tight tolerances.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with operating and programming CNC Machines.
  • Possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computer scanning devices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
  • Experience with Haas, Okuma, or Tsugami Swiss machines would be beneficial but not required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position. Three shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends.
  • Days and hours of work follows but is not limited to the core corporate hours and or night and weekends.

2ndShift Schedule Monday – Thursday 2:15/3:15pm – 12:45/1:45am

Weekend Schedule Friday – Sunday 6am – 630 pm

Travel

  • No travel is expected for this position.
